Storyline

Eve was different from anyone he'd ever met before. He stayed clear of her.

He loved Theresa. They were engaged to be married. She was the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. High school sweethearts. They grew up together. First kiss. First everything.

He loved her so much...

... And going to church would be perfect if it wasn't for her.

At the last minute they'd asked him to make one last stop at her house for the church pantry.

Eve made him nervous. He wanted to get as far away from her as possible.

When he was affected, she seemed unaffected. When he tried to resist, she didn't. She didn't have the normal filters on that everyone else had. There was something right and wrong about Eve.

When he was around her, when he looked at her, when he saw her watching him, the hairs on the back of his neck stood up. An irrevocable sense of dread creeped up on him.

She was unpredictable and little terrifying. And the electric shock he felt whenever their eyes met was powerful.

He'd end up making the biggest mistake of his life with her and he knew it...
